Three artists explore contemporary approaches to the photographic print through the examination of its physical properties, the possibilities of its reproduction, its vulnerability, and its uncertainty as a production of truth.

Trisha Holt is a visual artist and photographer interested in the physical properties of the photographic print and the possibilities of its reproduction. Her images are printed and positioned as life-size, topographical, and site specific installations which are then re-framed in new photographs or experienced as sculptural objects. Holt has shown her work nationally in New York, Detroit, Seattle, Wisconsin, and Arkansas among others. In 2012, she received her Masters of Fine Art, Photography at Cranbrook Academy of Art, and her Bachelors of Fine Art, Photography from Arizona State University in 2007. Her work is represented by the David Klein Gallery in Detroit, MI.
Ben Schonberger received his MFA degree in Photography from Cranbrook Academy of Art in 2013 and holds a BFA in Photography/Computer Imagery from Shepherd University. Utilizing photography, appropriated imagery, digital montage, and performance his work examines the complexities of identity through narrative.
A 2013 Mercedes-Benz Emerging Artist finalist, his work has been exhibited nationally and internationally and is part of many public and privet collections including the Detroit Institute of Arts. His first book, Beautiful Pig was self published in May 2013 and was shortlisted in The Paris Photo-Aperture Foundation PhotoBook Awards.
Eric Zeigler is a photographer based in Maumee, Ohio. Eric received his MFA in Photography from San Francisco Art Institute in 2010. He exhibits nationally, and was recently included in Vermont Center for Photography’s 30 Under 30: A Juried Exhibition, and was the featured artist for Off the Web, On the Wall 3 an invitational show held at the Society for Photographic Education’s national office in Cleveland, OH. Eric teaches photography and digital media at the University of Toledo.
