kitsch alchemy
November 15, 2018 - December 8, 2018
River House Arts is pleased to present Kitsch Alchemy, an exhibition of new work in glass, neon, and mixed media from Zac Weinberg. With a fondness for “found objects and images that represent peculiar aspects of our society”, Weinberg confronts and crosses lines that typically separate design, craft, and art. The exhibition opens with a public reception on Thursday, November 15 from 6-8 pm and runs through December 8th.
Weinberg is currently employed as a Glass and Sculpture Technician at Bowling Green State University’s School of Art. He earned his BFA from New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University (2009) and his MFA from The Ohio State University (2015).
